Bet On 2022 Wimbledon in USA

The 2022 edition of Wimbledon is set to be a great tournament. Novak Djokovic will look to win his fourth straight Wimbledon tournament as the favorite on the Men’s side, while Iga Swiatek will look to continue her remarkable 35 match winning streak as the favorite in the Women’s singles event. There are a lot of interesting story lines that make this years Wimbledon tournament a lot of fun to watch and bet on.

In this article I will look at the tournament winner odds for both the men’s and women’s singles, give my picks, and also provide a step by step guide for betting on Wimbledon this year if you live in the United States.

2022 Wimbledon Odds

Here are the odds to win Wimbledon from Bovada.lv.

Men’s Singles

*These odds are from June 27th – following day 1 of Wimbledon.

Djokovic is a big favorite to defend his title and win Wimbledon for the fourth time in a row. Matteo Berrettini and Rafael Nadal are the other main two contenders according to the oddsmakers.

Women’s Singles

*These odds are from June 27th – following day 1 of Wimbledon.

Iga Swiatek is the favorite to follow up her French Open win with a victory on grass at Wimbledon. Swiatek has won a remarkable 35 matches in a row, but she only has a 3-2 record at Wimbledon in her two appearances, so it will be interesting to see if she can keep her level as high on grass.

Ons Jabeur is the second favorite after winning the recent Grass Court tournament in Berlin. That said, she also does not have a great career Wimbledon record.

My Picks

Djokovic is the rightful favorite on the men’s side at odds of -140, and I do think there is a great chance of him defending his title once again.

It’s hard to take Novak at -140, but I really have trouble seeing anyone beating him at Wimbledon this year. Nadal at +600 is interesting considering he seems to have found a treatment for his ankle and the fact his level of play was so high at the French Open this year.

For a longer shot I would look at Denis Shapovalov at 100/1 odds. He is not playing well at the moment, but if he can get through the first couple rounds and find his A-game, Wimbledon is a tournament I think he can perform at. He made the semi-finals last year.

Play: Novak Djokovic -140 @ Bovada.lv

On the women’s side I have to go with Serena Williams at odds of +2000.  Yes, she’s 40 years old and has not played a Grand Slam event since last years Wimbledon tournament, but I do think if she has a shot to win another Grand Slam it’s at this years Wimbledon tournament. The draw is fairly wide open and the best players in the Women’s game are not as comfortable on grass as other surfaces.

There are a lot of question marks around her fitness and quality right now, and rightfully so, but if Serena was going to make a run I think this is the tournament for her.
